Nice looking T5-R I do like the interior the wooden manual gear shift just looks the bits. Very suprised this has not sold yet, it ticks alot of boxes:
Good colour
Manual
Very tidy interior
Some very nice mods without going OTT
Alloys refurbished

You are known across a couple of the Volvo forums, people can buy in confidence you are not selling a bag of nails

It's probably just the wrong time of year to be selling.....again...Lol. Cheers for the vote of confidence though Steve.

hi - I'm a bit confused ? Your car seems like the real deal - perhaps a bit on the expensive side imo, but you have mentioned your open to offers -so that seems fair enough as " if you don't ask you don't get" If I'm right from the threads, you initially put the car up for sale in August. I would have thought it would have been snapped up at some point in the last 4 months
St5ve has said that you are known and you're not selling a bag of nails and I'm in market and keen to get something by the end of Jan....

Why do you think it hasn't sold ? It ticks all my boxes, but am I missing something ?

St5ve ( if you're keeping an eye on this thread -do you think this is good value for money ? I'd appreciate your opinion

I'd like to make an you an offer as the mileage issue ie mpg isn't an issue for me as I'll be doing 50/80 miles a week so it won't break the bank - there's just this nagging question in my mind as to why it hasn't already gone. I've been keeping an eye on pistonheads and the keenly priced t5R / R's seem to go within days -I missed out on a couple as I wasn't quick enough !

What attracted me in becoming a member is that I feel that once I get the car I want, I'll be able to get the back up of people who are willing to help and advise others ....so, if you have any advice, it would be appreciated

thanks

The car has been up for sale a few times now but to be perfectly honest the first few times I changed my mind and decided to hang on to it, I only advertised it again in December so that's probably why no one has taken it yet, as for the other occasions it probably wasn't on sale for long enough.

There's nothing wrong with the car, I'm only selling because I've gotten bored and I fancy something else....

If TC doesn't mind I would like to add to this

I have known tc for some years now and would like to say that he looks after his cars very well.
I have seen this car on many times and would recommend it to any T-5R enthusiast.
IMHO it is the colour that lets the car down but if you like black then this is an honest, clean 850.

Well, looks to be good value to me.

Lovely and clean. Good luck with the sale, hope it goes to someone who'll look after it as you clearly have.

Beetle,

I do like the 850's and would love a T5-R. I currently have 3 R's and 1 T5. I would like to have 2 R's and 2 T5-R's eventually, if I was buying now TC's car would be on my list to buy.
