Noticed the wax layer on the car is quite low and since the front end (after hitting deer) didn't have a wax coat on it, I started to detail the car in a "light" version (those areas with grit/muck in paint are clayed rest of car covered with wax). Not totally finished now but it is so horribly warm now...
32°C still here in my village on the outskirts of Bremen and the that at 8.40 pm (CET).

Taxed the beast today, then stuck £40 of juice in, treated him to a new air wick smelly and changed pass side dipped bulb, went for a blast over to my mates, parked up 100ft away from his house, phoned him and said 'just gone past your place and there's a blue unmarked police T5 outside ! Haha he loved the car..

Got the old girl going again after 3 weeks sitting. put petrol in as well as a battery and away she roared. Waiting on 850 parts so have taken her tail lights out to re do the earthing on them. also hooked the alarm up to the horn as the siren was buggered. productive Sunday.

Spent the last hour and a half changing the NS Steering rack boot!
Done with no impact on the alignment I hope ... 20 mins of marking and measuring took place! In for a check tomorrow just in case. |
