  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

If it was rodknock
But it was easy to rule out with grahams advice to pull one for one the injector connectors.
The white smoke was a good hint in that direction

I thought white smoke is only when turbo is kaputt

SOLVED

Thanks all, received my replacement injector yesterday.
Fitted and all works very nice.
NOTE... I had white unburnt diesel coming out for quite some time but after a couple of runs up and down the mountain cleared it all out.
Lots of diesel went through while i was testing.

Thanks for all the advice.....

Can i edit the title of this thread? may help others.

this failed injector may have been the cause or your previous starting problems. good to hear you fixed it while away from home. most would have just given up. have a safe journey home.

I dont have spare injectors with me but on holiday i have some spare belts ,tools and special vulcanizing mc giver tape in the trunk.
