Bought this for some extra camping gear. Great piece of kit, steady, secure and ideal. Easy to store when not in use. The Rack, bag and lock (to secure the rack to the towball) cost £225 in all from ebay.

Lots of stuff will fit in it - in the pic it had a fold a way table (from halfrauds) 4 fold-up chairs and other bits and bobs.

2001 V70 2.4LPG.

Last summer took a month off and did a trip round the Baltic Sea; Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Holland. Total 4,229 miles.

Night 1; Germany, the one and only, out of 16 nights under canvas, that it didn't rain.

Denmark, bit of a line up going.

Sweden, in a cabin to dry out as it was torrential in G'burg.

Latvia, lovely place but 4WD would have been better to explore.

Nearly home, where else but Holland.

This year we're off to Corfu; 3 days to get to Brindisi in Italy, 10 days in Corfu and 6 or 7 days back via Pompeii, Florence and a few other places.

To be fair, my parents mondeo ghia x was lovely to drive down to france. Cruise set to 80mph, climate set to 16 degrees

Ignition amplifier went 30 mins into france, meaning we just coasted to the side of the road, no warnings in the 300 miles we had just done.

Managed to limp it back to dover and get it recovered from there:

That was on the back of the recovery truck in their yard at 2am. They didnt have a driver on who had enough driving hours to get us from Dover > Stafford, so they gave us a crap citroen c5 estate lol

Its a sorry sight, its been so reliable over the past 3 years, I guess i cant complain. Its already been fixed. £40 and 2 mins of my time was all it took.

Im looking to buy an 850R as my daily now and keep the 740 for moving stuff / general work horse duties!

Not quite, lol. Brindisi-Corfu return cost about 400 Euros, Dover-Dunkirk was a bargain £65ish. All in, including gas, camping along the way etc it worked out cheaper than flying and hiring when there. Plus we get to explore Italy
