If we are doing the Illuminations, then they get turned on at 8pm. If that's the case then a time of 5ish would be good, (that gives some time for chatting, viewing cars, and the cruise to Blackpool) but does that seem a bit late?

I just pray that i am off on the saturday as i would love to finally get to one of the north west meetings fingers crossed. Jc milne.

I dont live far away so should be able to make it!, i endevoured a few years ago to get a regular meeting of VOC members in the Lanc.s area going but it fell on stoney ground but more than willing to support your efforts!! Would be great to see a Lancs area section get going!

I think 5ish is tea time

would be too late for us

I would say 3ish, in which case some could arrive in the area earlier have lunch then join the meet, tor they could come to the meet, stay for tea in the area then join the convoy up to Blackpool.

What about an early and late meet similar to the above. Some folks could come early( 10,11,12) for a butty, McD or Morrisons caffeteria and chat and some later (3,4,5)? Just trying to accomodate as many peeps as possible

I think the only issue you might have with that is that there might only be a couple of people turning up to either the early or late.

What if (and I know this is B.B.Ste's baby, I'm not trying to take over), we make the official meet early at about 12ish, and then whoever wants to meet back up again for the Illumination run could meet back at about 7ish.

Ok I'm going to put this down in erasable stone!lol 12pm at Preston docks car park opposite Morrisons for the early crew. The same location at 7pm for the late crew for the lights cruise.

Gives the early ones time for breakfast and travel and the late ones can have evening meal before travelling.
