So just got to add a new item to my "to do" list
Hand brake So over the weekend the handle comes up 4 clicks and locks the wheels nice and today it comes up and 10 and barely bites! Initial thoughts was a snapped cable and asked around and seems the initial consensus but I've not had time to get under and look Boo JJ

Last week I did take my 13yr old camping in the back again - last time was to north devin and this time to south wales
Was fab Fire on the beach and we slept till 9am What a great view to wake up to though JJ

Right so this was really easy....
Firstly a massive thanks to classic swede for getting the parts to me so quick.... Ordered Wednesday evening and they arrived lunchtime today. 4 x brake shoes £12 1 x fitting kit of 4 new springs and 4 new retaining clips £5 So..... 1. Remove the wheel 2. Undo the 2x 17mm calliper bolts and free off the calliper and suspend it so as not to put too much strain on the brake pipe. 3. Remove the brake disc (might need a few smacks from a rubber mallet on the disc face) You can now get access to the 2 brake shoe pads! 4. Using needle nosed pliers or (preferably) a spring removal tool (£5 on Amazon) release the 2 springs that hold the shoes in place. Short one at the top and longer one at the bottom 5. Once free, the brake shoes should just pop out as they are held in with retaining springs but make sure you keep the H shaped spacer bar that sits between the top of the 2 shoes. 6. remove the old retaining clips and replace with the new ones 7. Slip in the new brake shoes making sure the base rests against the block at the bottom and the notch sits in the handbrake cam section (it's self explanatory when you see it. And make sure they sit nicely behind the new retaining clips 9. Replace the bottom spring 10. Replace the H sparser bar 11. Replace the top spring 12. Refit the calliper 13. Refit the wheel and test This took me about 40mins of working it out 1 side and then 10mins the other side - it's really easy!! JJ

Added some front spots to the car on the weekend
I bought a number plate / bumper mount but it just didn't work like I thought it would So I tried a different way of mounting it But it did mean I needed to trim the bottom edge of the grill But it fits really well and looks really integrated 2 x Hella Commet 500 fitted but not wired in... JJ
