Nice video.
It also confirms that you too are missing the microphone and adhesive pads for various parts. |

Hello,
I am fairly new to these Forums, but I recently tried to install this unit in my car. A few things to keep in mind if you have not attempted it yet 1- As said before you need double sided adhesive tape 2- I needed an extender for my mic cable as it was to short, if you want to run it from the in place mic holder. 3- 1 in-line splicer to add the LIN cable to the blue and white connector in the manual. Once everything was set up per their instructions my unit would still not work as advertised. I could still control the radio from the waterfall but it would not change stations on the touchscreen, also no audio was coming out of the BLP-990. I could connect the BT and utilize the Nav system (minus audio). I spent a good 8 hours with it and I will keep at it tomorrow, but so far this has been a major let down. If anyone has had a successful install I would love to hear how you did it. |

This was my OWN fault & nothing to do with bluepower Apart from that everything works sat nav is excellent, Bluetooth connects instantly & loads up my phone book. Obviously I can't test the unit fully until I have sound. |

So I do have to say the technical support has been spot on, they have worked with me through this issue.
So the Aux lines coming out of the main grey connector that go into the CD player need to go to the FL FR plugs in the bundle that is sent with the High Performance system as stated in the post above. So if anyone is interested in purchasing one keep in mind that you can only access the BT/Handsfree when your in the Aux position and you can use the radio as long as you install their antenna cable, if you use your existing antenna you can still use your radio but it has to be set to AM/FM on the waterfall. Which means you will not get any audio out of the BLP-990. In the end I originally thought I was purchasing a head unit to replace my car stereo but really its just an addition to what you currently have with some extra features. Which is fine, just not what I was expecting. |

Here is my unboxing video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oh-A3MrTLI4
I installed mine yesterday!! It was a little nightmare, one full day of work. But not blaiming Bluepower, it is really nicely done, I think it is just not possible to do it easier... Two hints for others wanting to go through this: - the thick black harness going to the LCD must come in from the right, along the right side of the stock CD-drive. I had it wrong first, coming in from the bottom and had to disasemble the waterfall dash a second time. - I was not able to route the thin black cable from the LCD as explained in the instructions. There was simply no room for it there, perhaps not all waterfall dash materials are the same, I have the wooden one. I drilled a hole into the right side of the ICM housing, the cable is now going from the LCD into the ICM housing and then out of the housing to the right behind the waterfall dash. I also found a nice place for the DVD-Box! I installed it ABOVE the glove box! It does not take away any room there and I do not need the CD/DVD drive. I removed the DVD drive from the DVD-Box as well as the front panel and replaced it by an aluminum sheet. The front panel with the two MicroSD slots is inside the DVD-Box as there is no more DVD drive inside. In my car the bluetooth module was above the glove box. But there is a gap to the left behind the center console, I just pushed it in there, it fits perfectly. Then I prepared another aluminum sheet, mounted it to the original bluetooth module screws and placed the DVD-Box on it. For the two MicroSD slots I will use two of these extensions and bring them down into the glove box: http://www.ebay.de/itm/2015-NEW-62cm...-/252094369834 Good luck with the install! |

I still haven't heard about the replacement antenna lead that they said would be needed and now Bluepower aren't responding to emails. Has anyone tried telephoning or other methods (eg Instagram) to get in touch? |

Finally got a reply this afternoon, new leads are supposed to be being shipped next Monday.
The missing microphone turned up last week, only took a couple of months to arrive. |

How are the current owners of these units getting on with them?
