We've updated our reliability stats for the C30, S40, and V50 to include owner experiences through the end of 2014. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2011 C30: 36, moderate, small sample size
2009 C30: 48, moderate, very small sample size
2008 C30: 61, moderate

2007 S40: 65, moderate, small sample size
2006 S40: 77, moderate, very small sample size
2005 S40: 69, moderate, small sample size

We'll have further updates in May and in August. As suggested by the sample size notes, additional participants would be very helpful.

Our reliability stats for the C30 now include owner experiences through March 31, 2015. (Others are nearly a year behind.)

In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year ("low" is best):

2011 C30: 34, low, small sample size
2009 C30: 31, low, very small sample size
2008 C30: 68, moderate

2007 S40: 59, moderate, small sample size
2006 S40: 99, high, small sample size
2005 S40: 69, low, small sample size

No stat for a model year? Then we very much need more participants for it. Same for those with small sample size notes. Next updates in August and November.

I know the two previous owners of shortly to be my '08 C30 had several repairs done.
The receipts are with the car's documentation, would it help if I added that information once I have the car - receipts are dated and I hope also show the car's mileage.

More participants are needed for all model years if we're to keep providing stats for the S40.
