XC60 D4/D5 Consumption - Page 4

Crockers - I have an XC60 D5 SE Lux on Order due mid Sept but my XC60 driving experiences so far (refered to in my mileage note above) were with a MY13 demonstrator that I booked via our car scheme at work. I think the demo was all run out of the Mill Volvo business at http://www.millnortheast.co.uk/. It was an excellent service with the car being brought a long way for me to use for the weekend. I think that the Car is also being supplied via Mill Volvo via our work PCP scheme run by ALD in Bristol. I live in North Bath and so I will be using MRG Volvo at Chippenham for servicing - no experiences with them so far but I have heard some positive and the odd negative on this forum ... but almost all positive so hoping we will get along fine!

You haven't set your units to US Gallons instead of Imperial Gallons, have you? Probably by accident?

Just done a trip from Nottingham to Tullamore and down to Wicklow in Ireland and back..I brimmed the tank and got 515 miles from a tank full... I drove normally... fast, slow...any which way!!! I guess if I had tickled the throttle on the motorways I could have achieved far better, but I had a great driving experience and a fast drive home and probably broke the record from Holyhead to Nottingham

(speed tickets pending I guess

) What a fun drive my R-Design is....

Hubbalp - you must be quite local to me (Bailbrook). My car is also due in September. Perhaps we should compare notes when they arrive?

Checked and yes I had had it set to US mpg...many thanks..

Now back to normal...
