Surely the F-Pace is a very serious contender now if you can wait that long - looks great I think

I'm not keen on the wood or the stick on tablet, but other than that I think it's fine.

I like modern Mercedes interiors. Much higher quality than they were 10 years ago.

The display screen does seem very large. A C-class passed me the other day and glancing over, the display was very prominent. It would be too large for me, but the key factor in all these displays is the quality of the information displayed, ie, the screen resolution, screen layout and the software driving the infotainment and navigation system. If that was top class, I could tolerate the oversize screen. Having not checked MB systems, I can't comment further.

That looks like someone has sold Mercedes a load of 1970's sideboards for recycling.

Mercedes infotainment/nav are very good. Have been for the last few years.

Yes, you do wonder if the design team behind the dashboard have lost the plot. Sadly, they seem to be inflicting the same 'designs' across much of the range. Audi, BMW and Volvo designers must be having a good laugh at the efforts from MB.

Congrats on your new purchase, hope you will be very happy.

Interior is basically a copy of the new c-class interior. Obviously the wood interior is optional. (don't think there is any need for some of the silly comments earlier).

F-pace looks a good interesting car and will be a strong challenger along with the GLC etc. to the all new xc60 when it eventually lands
