Most of these tyre places work at 100mph. It doesn't surprise me that they rounded it. After I had tyres replaced a while back, I had to stand on a breaker bar to get the lug nuts loose with a scaffolding tube on one end of it for extra leverage... They put my lug nuts on with an air impact gun.
That's why the chrome plating cracks and your bolts rust...

i always remove the locking wheel nuts my self before going to any tire place. it removes any chance of any one other than my self damaging them.. one of the worst things to use is the volvo supplied wheel brace as it is angled and stops you getting a straight turn on the nuts and it always skids off the nuts so i carry a strong arm bar and socket in the car.

Tyres and allignment done. Steering wheel centre position is a little off but the performance and ride quality is night and day.

Quieter, smoother, grips. Good result

Steering wheel centre shouldn’t really be off? That’s the whole point in getting it aligned. Lol.

Yeh I know.

I will ring them tomorrow. The car feels true, as in its not pulling either side and seems very stable, it's just the steering wheel naturally sits slightly on left turn when car is driving straight.

Likely due to not centering the wheel properly and locking it into place before they made adjustments on the tie rods. Nothing major, but you'll have to bring it back for them to get it right.
