Had the RTI DVD player out today as I have been driving around with the screen stuck up for the last week as It wont read disc and you can not shut it down.......took what I could (dared)apart of the dvd unit, couldn't get to laser and thought best be safe and not try so give it a good blow out and seems to have done the trick for now, looks like a new disc is required as the OEM one is from 04

Standard bulbs are adequate to illuminate the car Kieran. They're canbus error free too lol.

Our V70 took a deer head on. Volvo 1, deer 0. But complete loss of headlight and bashed in radiator grille.

Spent a merry day or two fitting a s/h headlight unit and new grille and ty-wrapping the broken bits. Now the car looks a little bonk-eyed as a few flanges were displaced by the impact.

Down with Bambi, I say.

Yes, it gave me chance to sort a few more things out, like replacing the MAF sensor and rediscovering power.
