My first Volvo! Have had it for 1 and 1/2 years.
I love it but sunroof started rattling. I'll find the right forum page to post. |

Mostly happy.
Likes:- Engine sound, power delivery, comfort, driving position, looks, feels solid, has a space saver spare rather than a compressor and tube of goo, decent windscreen washers, door lock switches on all doors. Dislikes:- Lack of engine oil dipstick! Lack of power mirrors/tailgate (on R-Design). Inability to switch off start/stop completely. EPB switch location and the fact the switch works ‘backwards’ intuitively. Infotainment takes ages to connect to my iPhone. Fuel economy (24-26mpg average). Rear bumper doesn’t come with a lip protector for the boot. Pins for engine cover are a stupid design. Horns are a bitch to access (to change for a decent air horn). Engine mounts corrode really quickly.

There is an OBDC module you can get (forget the name exactly) that you just plug in and forget about. Makes sure the start stop stays in the position it was last in when the engine was turned off - off, for most people It also allows you to close the power tailgate with the key, if you have one of those. |

XC60 owners happy or not
Hi all it’s with regret I have to say my Xc60 has been one of the worst cars I have owned it’s a 2011 D3 AWD 2.4. It has 58000mls on the clock full dealer service.in the last 12 months it’s had a new clutch, new springs, tailgate struts,a real annoying rattle in dash, screen washers failed, radiator leeks. All on top of main dealer prices for services. These are all common faults on the Xc60. The Volvo build quality and reliability has long gone.I won’t be keeping this car any longer.

Well with all the common fault listed above, I’m happy to report that I’m more than happy with mine, yes it has requires springs and rear end bushes in the past year, but with now 110,000 on the clock , for a car built in 2012 I’m happy.
Yes the hand brake could have been in a better place as could the light switches, but I knew where they were when I bought the car, no-one forced it on me. And very pleased to see that around 92% of owners are more than happy despite the odd hiccup.

Hi
I am new to this forum and have a question. I own XC60 2014. The wing mirrors have stopped folding. My car is without power seats. Can anyone help how do I reset the mirrors to neutral position? Thanks |

Wrong section really, you may not get too many replies. I suggest re-posting under general heading. Is it early or late 2014 your car?
