Yes I have replaced both front dust guards. I used a small coal chizel to start the bolts off as I had no gas blow lamp .but got there in the end also had to get a garage to replace some of copper brake line it was totally sized at the brake hose joint

Blow lamp was a vital tool today. Lots of fittings seized. I managed to loosen the dust shield bolts to save myself some effort next time. |

Second sensor defeated and the code blinks 1-1-1 so all good. Just need to charge the battery and take it for a test drive. Whilst drifting the old sensor out I accidentally flattened one tooth a little, hopefully the signal isn't too badly interrupted.
Edit: Hmmm, as soon as I cycled the ignition the code returned. 1-5-2 Right front wheel sensor: open circuit or short-circuit to battery voltage. No resistance reading with the multimeter. Either dead out of the box or I broke it whilst fitting. Last edited by DeanH; Apr 12th, 2024 at 15:08. |
