Thanks for any replies.
I don't think they will be much use for dipped and main beam as they produce light in a different way to a conventional bulb also they are no where near bright enough, unfortunately.

I've just fitted my LED side lights and decided to clean the projector lenses at the same time as they were looking rather murky. The near side is quite a bugger too get out as one of the screws is blocked, but once done it has made a fair difference. The only real problem is the reflectors are starting to look a little burnt which is altering the colour and probably output of the drivers side headlight, especially.

Thanks for that, i recently cleaned the lenses but yours look really white, doesn't look odd like mine. What bulbs are you using? Also, just done my footwell lights to led's, easiest way is to remove lenses/covers, feel behind the little light holders and push them down and out and disconnect wire. Really fiddly to remove and put new bulb in so a lot easier having the holder out!

Yeah, almost impossible to get the bulbs out in situ! Even had a bit of bother changing them when they were out! The driver side had a couple of strips of tape under the lens (stop it rattling i think)? Just peal off, stick fingers up behind/on top of light unit, stick a small flat screwdriver up one side to free tiny clips and push down with finger tips.

Just been out now it's dark to see how all the bulbs look, and must say interior looks very cool now. Just waiting for vanity mirror bulbs to arrive to finish it off! Gonna try and do some pics although others have already done so, but will see if they come out ok?

I've got oem xenons, you can see how cloudy the drivers side was before I took it out to clean. Its a lot better but I still need to get the levels raised to try and get an improvement on dipped beam, but cleaning them has already meant I can now see them whilst driving along at night in town. The other problem is that the silver reflectors (drivers side especially) are starting to tarnish/burn (thanks to the DRL's) so I need to look at maybe replacing them at some point in the future.

I have hopefully managed to get my hands on 4 bulb holders for over the drivers lamps and then foot wells thanks to your advice. I wasn't sure if you took the holder out from the front or rear. What type of bulb did you use? I was going to get the flat ones with 4 smd's on one side but I was worried that with my luck the polarity would mean they would end up pointing into the dash, lol.

I pushed them down towards the floor if that's what you are asking? I used these bulbs and they look ok http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2211242700...84.m1497.l2649 I had to turn the first one round but was more lucky with the next! Are your xenons expensive type or cheapies like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230749627618 as yours seem to match the led's quite nicely!!

Sorry, mis-read You have proper HID Xenon. A lot of the cheapies claim to be as good as but never seem to be!

Yeah that's what I was thinking, do they go back in ok? I was thinking about getting these http://www.amazon.co.uk/CANBUS-Socke...I3C8V0TE1VVNGY but I was a bit worried if they had to be turned round, I may just get some round ones.

No idea about the xenons as they are factory fitted and I don't know if the bulbs have ever been replaced, I have been toying with getting some new bulbs tho as the output isn't great
