I am assuming the part I require is no. 16 on the diagram above? Well at least thats the part I was trying to describe over the phone earlier. If so will get the local Volvo dealer to fax me a copy of that picture and then highlight/circle the part and fax it back just to be 100 percent

The 9125623 part number is for the later 97 onwards boost control valve.

hi, next time its not boosting let her cool down and pull the actuator arm towards the actuator body to see if its sticking slightly open and allowing the boost to be bled off through the wastegate.
do not do this when hot unless wearing leather gloves or using pin nosed pliers. wayne

im not a million miles from braintree, i have to go to norfolk some time this weekend so i may be able to meet, somewhere like marks tey?...we can test your bcs with mine although i would like to have a MBC available but they are both "out" at the mo.....
