General: - So, Volvo for life?? - Page 5

Im picking up my MY05 S60 D5 SE on Thursday (cant wait!) Popped into the dealer yesterday to sort out a few bits and got chatting about Volvo in general and then the wife on the way home, so is it really a case of once you have a volvo, you'll always have a volvo??

Now having seen the S60 and soon to become an owner of one i cant see myself looking at any other brand given the performance, ride and amount of toys you get. In our search for a new car we tried the new Passat, i was uninspired and it was bland, Audi A4, exceptionally bland on the inside and a Ford Mondeo (dont ask!) I only felt at home in the volvo and also had that protected feeling.

When i told the guys at work i was getting a volvo, i just got frowned upon and got the normal pipe and slippers jokes (were all in our early 30's) and one is an avid BMW fanatic. Im hoping to wipe the smiles off their faces when i take them out for a spin
