Save some money on those in car ''black boxes'' .... If you have a android phone Galaxy S2 for example, browse through some free apps at the google market, there you will find an app that will suit you. I did a mistake by buying a in car camera from ebay for 47 pounds or so.. I could have spent 2.99 or so for a full version of it, for example on this one ...

P.S. I will make a comparison of two technologies, the one(complete unit) that I bought from amazon and the anther one(app for android) that I got from google market.
It might take 2 days tho....

for some i can see the benfits of using their phone with an appropriate app.

but personally i want a unit that is fixed in the car...that way it comes on straight away. else it going to take me 10 minutes to set up before i can even drive off with setting up the phone, plugging in my tomtom etc.

I'm interested to see results of these imports.

Using my Note wouldn't help me much either. I'd probably end up spending £40 on a mounting arm thing and I keep mine in a case so I'd ahve to keep removing it etc. Rather have a separate device as a camera like I use my TomTom for nav.

Thats what Im planning for most my cars and the works truck as a few weeks ago someone claimed I had reversed into them, luckily with have a very good GPS tracker system and when the other driver was told about this he decided that he wouldn't put a claim in.
His details were taken and passed onto the MIB.
