As always with My Volvo, the theory is good.

When I raised the tyre noise issue with Volvo UK a few weeks back my dealer contacted me by phone to arrange to see the car. After the call, I tried creating the appointment in My Volvo and it got sent to my dealer, just to try the system and see if the appointment would stay in some form of vehicle history in My Volvo. Nothing ever seemed to happen to that appointment online, until today, when I've received an email from My Volvo stating that unfortunately the dealer has had to cancel the appointment!!

The car did go in several weeks back, so I'm not concerned. Appreciate I did things a little back to front in this case, but it just seems like another example of Volvo's IT systems being great in theory, but not cutting the mustard in real life.

As I said, I have never used the system.

On contacting Volvo UK recently about an issue (Which my dealer could not deal with, without permission from Volvo UK), they knew who my dealer was and within an hour, dealer was on the phone to me.
Something works.

I received an email with the cover details about 2-3 weeks after taking delivery. The cover came free from Volvo finance

Mine was £500 for 5 years services, as I bought my car, as you say if leasing you get 3 years free. They have had my cash but have not delivered yet.
