There is no arguement against the facts presented in the case hence the settlement out of court and gagging order, which by all accounts Russ himself has not abided by, and the hired some brief to draft a letter threatening legal action which has no basis in law since one wasn't even referenced to, to attempt to intimidate those who would speak out against shoddy workmanship or warn others against the aforementioned workmanship.

Not really flower. Why make the satirical comment? Except to promote a reaction, in which case you're a sad little troll. Other than that Russ has promoted the length of the reaction and is his worst own enemy by his stupidity in his actions .

This thread itself arose from a new incident between RT M. Each time something like this jhappens of course a new thread will appear.......

The only way this can be calmed down from the way i see it is if RT M try to resolve the issue in a civilised manner between those involved without resorting to threatening moves.

Has any member of this forum actually received a copy of this letter directly yet?

I only ask because until such times as our membership is directly affected by this issue we cannot justifiably act in order to protect our membership. At the moment it is just (to use strictly accurate legalese) just hearsay and thus cannot in all fairness justify a considered reaction by this forum's Moderating Team. Should our members be directly threatened by this letter we will of course rethink our views on allowing posts about R T Mechanics and the potential threat of legal action this may entail.
