  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Update.... Engine rebuilder phoned yesterday and said the other garage and mechanics were right to quote £900 plus as it is a hard job you have to work through a small hole!!! (but that was the price they quoted for the new parts and labour without actually stripping it! He said I quoted £750 so I will do it for £750 but I must charge vat on top (I thought he quoted £700) so it will come to around £900. He said he has a head and will use parts from it. I was up at hospital so I told he him to go ahead. I will need to get an MOT when hes finished.

I would be interested in the pair of camshaft from your head or from your mechanic.
Anyway,make sure he has the head off a B4204S2 engine,cuz it's different from the others.
