Just had the rear seat entertainment retrofitted through peter at designer sound and vision. All positive really, and would definitely recommend peter's (elliot2) services. I'll try and post some photos at the weekend

Does anyone know how to set the audio routing to the in-car audio system from the RSE on XC60 permanantly?
It's bit of pain to change every time starting the DVD as the setting always reverts back to OFF and has to be changed to ON in order to listen thru the car audio... |

Hi
I would like to talk about linking my 10dvd changer to the car audio. Could you call me on 07884 435920 or email on Martin@martinlamb.com please? Thanks Martin Quote:

Ordered a single fold down DVD player - Volvo original. Cost me almost AUD3.5K with installation.... ouch. More expensive here in Perth than those in the east.
Almost went for the dual headrest LCD but not too keen on losing the removal feature of the middle storage. Further, heard that display clarity is also dependent on the headrest (n back rest) angle. Car is one year old and I thought I could get away without having a built in DVD and just used my Mac as DVD player. After a year and so many holiday trips, found it cumbersome having to handle the portable. One question: Does the infra red transmitter for the headphone uses the standard frequency? The set comes with 2 headphones but might need a third. I used to purchase those standard infra red headphone (from Philip) and it works on previous car LCD/DVD player.

Has anyone got a manual for the 10DVD, remote and 2-screen swivel system? Would you perhaps be able to scan/email or photocopy and sell me a copy please?
Also, any ideas how to charge the Thomson headphones (mine are WHP460U's, but presumably they are all pretty similar?) Thanks, Darren. Last edited by rowleyd3; Nov 6th, 2010 at 14:13. Reason: typo |

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. I have just bought a 2009 XC60 premium lux with headrest dvd players in the rear. I have one damaged screen that needs repalcing and one set of headphones that do not work. Can you help me with these 2 problems please?

Rear Entertainment System
I have just sold my XC90 04 plate which had a rear audio entertainment system in the back. You could plug in some headphones either side and the kids could choose to listen to the radio or CD player whilst I listened to something else in the front. However my new XC90 (10 plate) doesn't have this. Do you know if you can get it fitted? I am not too fussed about a DVD player in the headrests, just want the audio.
Thanks in advance. Jo |
