I have disabled my headlamp washers by turning the lights to the 0 position (they're still on, though), but I wanted to try the quick flick to see if I could wet the shield before setting off the wipers. But no matter how quick I flick, the wipers always come on after the second pull

Maybe the xenon system like mine is programmed slightly differently then.

Or maybe I'm just a very quick flicker!

I just took the fuse out after looking at the manual, I've done this on my (08) S80 and my wife's (60) C30 it's not affected anything else with either car. I think without a wiper on the headlamp like the old Volvo's the washers do very little other than drain the washer bottle. I hope that helps?

#11 under the bonnet if memory serves. It's in the manual.

Online manual for the 2007 here http://pdfcast.org/pdf/2007-volvo-s4...-8217-s-manual

I pulled R11 under the bonnet and everything carried on working. Should it be F11 ?

Found the fuse F11 and the headlamp washers work no more. I'm suprise that pulling the headlamp washer relay R11 didn't stop them working though.

The washers are giving out a good amount of pressure covering the bonnet and wings in washer fluid, I have decided that working headlamp washers are a pain and would like to disconnect them, what is the easiest way of doing this?
disabled mine a while ago just unplug and tape the connectors up under the bonnet easy.
