Possibly mentioned before[without scrolling back through pages and pages of this thread I don't know]there is a 1970 145S in need of tlc which at a start price of £500 had no bids earlier and auction ends Monday. E-bay item number[I can't do links]404361966890.

Hi DD,

Somehow hadn't noticed that on eBay, but that is the one in Poole I went down to pick up a few weeks ago with a beaver tail hire van, vendor not there at agreed meet time, and the more I looked at it, the more it was apparent it wasn't a good base for a project as rust was everywhere.

Thankfully the vendor messing about, meant I had a chance to escape, albeit a few quid down on van hire/hotel.

It's been in the same spot for years probably, as a green square has formed on the tarmac around the silhouette.

The green one looks better externally, but the grey looks better in the engine bay. From this (imvho) it appears to be the better maintained of the two.
