Default Winter Project??

Rather interesting Amazon VWW on eBay just seen

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134786984...Bk9SR_78qLzxYg

Possible good base for a restoration project, either keep LHD as probably wont be overtaking a huge amount, or perhaps take opportunity to convert to RHD.

Interior looks not too bad

Cheers

Is it a stunner or a money pit??

Cheers

There was a low mileage orange 144 that I considered but the two door 142 for me is much better looking, it also had the big bumpers etc which not a fan of. 71 is my favourite but earlier 140s look good too. Safari yellow is also the best 70s colour. 👍😁

Arrived a few days ago thanks, and as far as I can tell, it worked OK on 12v.
Parts chest started… a long and slippery slope😀

Getting back to 240’s rather a curious case ???

https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1655733

On initial look not that bad, but on closer inspection bit of rust on OSR wheel arch, then checked DVLA registration and last v5c only on 26.10.23

Someone bought a week or so at a snip, and trying to flip for a few ££

Cheers

It doesn't look too bad, but with whatever those arches may point to, I wouldn't give more than £2000 for it.

Ditto, also looks like the right hand bonnet hinge is stiff as well - bonnet is a funny shape in that area.
