Chrome vinyl sheets. Cut in small stops, maybe one inch by four, and appt each piece progressively. Have done it a number of time with great results. Did my c70 headlights as well as the indicator peices

The only thing I found with the vinyl stuff is the heat produced by the lights can soften the glue... at least the stuff I used before I purchased 3rd party lights

I just bought brand new LHD lights from Germany for £45 and swapped the glass for my RHD glass job done! ☺
P.s. nice new uncorroded adjusters to boot.
