Shadey,
Would be interested in opinions on grabbers. Which type are you going for?

Like the look of the tread on them. Similar the tread on the BGoodrich's on our Defender.

Tried the Grabbers at motorway speeds the weekend. At 70mph the noise they make sounds like the wind, a gentle hum, can't hear it unless I turn the radio and heater off.

I decided to lower the tyre pressure on the way back, seemed a little better. 38 to 42 psi depending on speed and road type.

A couple of the shoot vehicle's have these on and the lads like them. I do hope you can report back with the wear characteristics, as I, like many of us, tend to do most of my miles on dual carriageway tarmac!

I would say I spend 85% of my time heavy urban driving, school runs, shopping trips, 3 or 4 mile to work etc.. Not much motorway or carriage way driving at all but I'll update as time passes.

Anybody usint Pirelli Scorpion ICE and SNOW ? local dealer claims cant get Contis so is offering these/
I live on top of hill without treated roads and need to know these will give me a chance of mobility in the snow.

Over the equivalent summer tyre - of course they will

As long as they have the 'snowflake inside the mountain' symbol, theyll be rite
