OK
I didn't remember that you had fixed with Valeo. On my V40 the original wipers 'slapped' at the A Pillar which was fixed with Bosch but this is a result of excess pressure.

The V60 is going.... love it as I do, it just isnt proving practical for our needs....the roofline is too low causing multiple repeats of bashed heads which is getting somewhat wearing , the seating poition is also too low.....and this is on the CC model which has raised suspension....maybe it's just me getting old ..... ... also, poor doggie is sitting in the boot like a hunched up old man due to the low headroom so I have decided to swap for an ex dealer demo XC60
.......so..... my "new" a couple of months ago Valeo wipers which cured the smearing / missing parts of the screen problem 100% are up for sale if anyone wants them (pm me)... I paid £60 on 2nd April and think £40 plus postage is a reasonable ask.... they have only been used a few times and less than 2000 miles covered I also have a brand new and unused set of Volvo rubber inserts that I will include but these were warranty so I wont charge for them.... they "shoulkd" fit the Valeo arms when the time comes but I havent tried I hope the XC doesnt suffer the same fate, unfortunately the wipers are of course a different size..... Also have a genuine Volvo dog guard for the V60 - the one that flips up out of the way.....£200 ono as it's only been used for a couple of months and I still have the original box |

dog guard now sold, wipers still available for any reasonable offer.....along with a genuine double sided carpet mat for the boot which extends to cover the rear seats if folded

Just read this thread as I have a 2019 XC60 and it rained at weekend and now I have the "smearing" issue - so you'll probably want to get ready to purchase some new blades

I've also started getting the driver wiper sometimes hitting the A pillar - is there a connection? Vehicles only done 43K miles |

now thats interesting..... I've only had the car a week (a 6 month old dealer demo) and when I washed the screen I THOUGHT the wipers were hitting the A pillar but then they seemed not to......jees.... I thought I had made a good choice with the XC60.......
