Had this for about 2 months, uprated brakes with refurbed wheels, and K&N, plan on either a Rica chip or just MCB and guage for now. Hope to see a few more at the national this year???

I though of adding my old 480 turbo as the first post on this forum. Had her for 3 years , just sold her. RichMod, T25 turbo, full 2.5" exhaust straigth trough. ATS cup wheels and so on.

Ok, here is my 1994 480 2.0S, it needs a damn good clean and intend to cream clean it once I've finished playing with it mechanically. Needs abit of work to return it to its former glory but I am trying to get it there.

I work in a double glazing company and the very best substance I have ever used to get a cars surface up a treat is cream cleaner used to clean window frames once they have been installed. Very good stuff.

Thumbs up

That's lovely ... there's still a great depth to the red. I like the wheels too ... many wheels look yukky on 400's imho, but these are very smart and set it off very nicely.

Hello all,

Just thought I'd post some pics of my new purchase, a 460 1.8Si. I wanted something cheap-ish as a winter runner and having sold my 340 a few months back I was set on another Volvo.

It's got all the electrical gubbins including air-con (not sure I'll need that at the moment!) has 117k and 2 previous mature owners so it's been well cared although is by no means mint. I'll do an oil and filters change just as routine, and I notice it has a genuine Volvo oil filter currently fitted which is hopefully a good sign of being cared for.

Drove it back this morning across London and it drove very well despite a slightly lumpy idle, but that could be new car pickiness, most people would hardly notice probably.

It's an interesting comparison to the 340 with a lower driving position but a lot more grunt!

Rob
