trip computer
When I move it to the furthest position [Speed] It will not show an accurate speed according the speedo then it is very slow to return to zero.
Move to the next position [average fuel] it shows firstly disc for a brief second then 99.9 Next position [actual fuel] 99.9 Next Temp always shows 2 degrees above ambient if I stop in traffic it rises to 41 c then drops slowly [very slowly] Next miles that seems to be 2 lower than the odemeter Next is Fuel left on warning lamp this has a mind of its own has been known to tell me I have 1100 miles left when the orange light comes on [which I believe is 8 litres +/-. Ok Ill remove the top and have a look see

Update time on the trip computer
After a lot of lengthy sessions with various meters and monitors it turns out that the actual digital drivers computer has gone into default mode and now needs resetting, Volvo still stock the computer but no longer stock the connection lead, which apparently has to be fitted to the newer computer unit why no idea.
there is no way to read the codes off the unit which is really annoying just a replacement. Does anyone know if there is a way to make the lead up [especially any experts with electronics] who could suggest a way of unlocking it?
