Scandix Source
Thanks Spirit Man
for the link to the chaper price from Scandix for the kit. however I am going to check out the Window sensor connection angle next first - because if my Alarm siren module is the cause of my "Alram system Service Required" message - then it aint half working perfectly (as an alarm and alarm siren) for something that needs to be replaced! I know that at least one of the wires on my side rear windows is not connected and the heatd side window not functioning. Am wondering if another has come off and thats generating the Alarm System Service Required message! |

The elements in the cargo area side windows are aerials and not for heating so don't expect any demisting to occur . The alarm part is the small loop at the top labelled 'Volvo Guard' with two connections on each one.

Sounds like you've traced it to a loose connection on the side window breakage sensors: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=242155

No. The error message will only clear when the problem has been repaired.
