Well, its been a while since i posted in this thread! should be picking the interior up from silveruser after christmas hopefully, along with the rear leccy window stuff, so the list is now as follows:

N/S/R Door, in the right colour
Centre Caps for Omega Alloys
Fitting Kit for Volvo driving lights/parts
New Front Fogs
760 Interior Light
rear reading lights
Under Bonnet Light
battery condition guage/oil temperature guage/ambient temperature guage, don't really care which, just bored of having blank slots!
oil pressure guage and sender, reason as above
full set of electric window switches, preferably the ones that light up, as fitted on 940???
clear indicator lenses for nsr, nsf, and osf plus side repeaters.

well, as some might have noticed if they read my project thread, my interior was unfortunately scrapped, as communication was not very good between myself and peter (silveruser) thanks very much to him for his efforts though, we tried! any way, this leaves my list looking like this again!

Ok, really been way too long since i've been on here properly! see if anyone has anything that might be able to help me

I got a new interior off here a while back, and stumbled across a set of wheels ages ago, also got new front fogs when i was getting the interior. still got a long list of jobs i hope to do so lets try and get this updated.

I NEED to get ASAP;

Odometer repair kit (AGAIN yes!)
Clear N/S/R Light Cluster (slowly filling with water but don't want to buy another normal one as i have a clear O/S/R one waiting to be fitted)
O/S Headlight pre facelift (hole from a stone a few weeks back)

Could do with;

Clear Indicators for O/S/F and N/S/F + side repeaters

Would Like;

N/S/R Door, in the right colour
O/S/F wing, ditto
Fitting Kit for Volvo driving lights/parts
760 Dome Light
Under Bonnet Light
battery condition guage/oil temperature guage/ambient temperature guage
oil pressure guage and sender

Other than that need to start thinking about building up a new engine/ working out where to get a better one from as mine's starting to let go - i have a bad bottom end knock when cold and rattles from the top, plus an unstoppable leak from the oil filler cap :| still, that's long term!

Hi Richard,

Can't help a great deal, but that leaky lamp should be fixable. Take it off, fill with water to identify where it drips from, then when dried out use white carbond or glue to seal it up.

Is your engine carb or k-jet?

the leaky lamp, isn't really a major problem, but the fact that it's old and the contacts are worn (you know how they get!) is more of an issue, so it needs replacing and i don't want to buy one and then another when i can find a clear one. the fact i haven't really gone and bothered to look that hard tells you a lot about how important it is!

as for the engine, it's a k-jet (b200E) and is actually doing fairly well really. i did manage to fix that seemingly unstoppable leak in the end. had to get a new filler cap seal and then mess about with the fixing mechanism on the cap for a while but i'm told it hasn't leaked since i came to uni the knock seemed to get a bit better after i cleaned the breather system out again, but i'm a little confused as to how it ended up so blocked after only about 8 months from when i last did it. decided to not bother replacing the flame trap this time as apparently volvo made the decision that they weren't really necessary in the end anyway.

the plan at the moment is to fix the V70 over christmas finally and get that back on the road to reduce the work on TLN/retire her to the drive until i can afford to drive her myself, and then when i can i will consider thinking about doing something about the B200E. most probably it will probably be a case of running that engine until it does properly let go and then sorting a solution out after that!
