Yes I know ;-), I'm as eager for you to get yours as I am to get mine, provided the D3 is as good as the old 2.4 that is. Do you want me to come and take some pictures of your new toy ?? ;-) **

First MY11 XC60 - Fog lights
Is anyone promised delivery on their MY11 model in the next week or so?
It will be interesting to hear what changes have been made. The only obvious change I have seen is the removal of the Fog Lights. To be efficient, fog lights need to be as close to the ground as possible, where they do not just illuminate the fog. So what do Volvo suugest we use instead of fog lights? |

Had a call today saying the car is being built this week (MY11 ES Geartronic).
Factory system still shows estimated delivery of 15th July which is a month later than the original delivery estimate we had been quoted back in March when we placed the order. Anyone here know how long it normally takes between car being actually built to delivery? Can hardly wait!!!! |

My dealer seems to be able to check on a system online somewhere with factory's latest estimated delivery date. I have been calling them up regularly to ask them to check it and they go on the system and read it out to me...

Normally it should take only about 2 weeks from date of manufacture until you get your car....
Car made. 2-4 Days on quay in Belgium or Sweden waiting to be shipped. 1-2 Days to ship to UK. 1 Day to offload. 1-2 Days delivery to dealer or possibly compound. 3-5 Days after that, you get the keyes.
