Mark, the price of the B&B's down there are practally as expensive as the hotels, also trying to find one that can take 10+ people is near on impossible.
Hugh, I understand fully, I didn't realise Navan was so much further up the road, we'll discount it just.

I think if we are going to meet in Mullingar we should stay there, not somewhere else. I know it's not easy to find that money so close to Christmas but hey, we're trying to organise the Irish meet-ups eh! So does it look like the Annebrook House Hotel seems to be the cheaper of the 2 left eh? Just my opinion for what it's worth! 1. Andy (NI_Volvo_Nut) 740 SE 2. Maurice (MoCam) 945 SE 3. I'm ok with Annebrook House. Looks nice actually. A bit of class for some class cars! And the lads of course......

Ok, I'm going to try and get a chance to call them today and make arrangements for us. If anybody has any objections to Annebrook, no problem, feel free to air them, but please have a solution too lol. Time is pressing on and we need to get this finalised asap. Tony is still out in the "sticks" and I haven't heard from him for his views, but I think he'll be happy enough with the devolpments.
I'll be making plans with the you Northern guys shortly about convoying down, I'm thinking we meet around Armagh maybe and travel down together. Maybe some of you guys coming from the other direction want to do something the same, just another thought though lol

Hi folks,
Been gone since friday, literally in the door 10 minutes and heading off again for a week tomorrow. I don't mind either way, Greville said the 21st. was fine but that was a couple of weeks ago ... I presume they've been booked in the meantime. I guess the main things are 1/ price, and 2/ somewhere to safely park up - no disrespect but especially for the likes of Hugh's Amazon in particular. As I mentioned before, there's a lovely b&b directly across from the Mullingar Arms, but there doesn't appear to be any parking and I somehow doubt the other place would just allow the car park to be used! Personally anything over €50 by much I wouldn't be into. If the other place Andy has in mind ticks the boxes, no probs here. I don't mind doing another recon, only thing is as I say I'm heading off again in the morning / afternoon tomorrow and will only have a week and a bit to finalize the route when I come back. I don't mind 'cause I work best with a rocket up my ... um ... under pressure. I'm reluctant to change dates again, but if all else fails and the 28th. isn't putting anyone's nose out of joint, I guess that's also an option. I don't mind really as long as we damned well meet lol! Cheers, Tony.

I hadn't planned to stay overnight but we'll see how things pan out. Roll on the 21st

Just noticed that today is the 09th. eek! I don't mind any last minute ironing out, if needs be I can scoot on up to Mullingar in the morning of the 21st., though if this Annebrooke is the same one I'm looking at it's central, so it's not going to interfere with the original route.
