It is 1-2-4-5-3 according to the Haynes manual (petrol engines).

@Bigwilly, don't mean to frighten you mate but might be worth checking that you've got eh HTLeads correctly connected because from your description and the confirmation above you might have them wrong!

No me neither.. but you've seen what he's said about his distribution!

I reckon he must of got the dizzy setup correct and 'remembered' the sequence and typed it in. I reckon he's simply got a few of the numbers the wrong way round which would be the most logical explanation.

I don't suppose it really matters though as long as its running sweetly

Yer i had typed the order in wrong in my excitement of having it fixed - sorry if anyone's tried to follow my order haha.

Car's running so smooth now its great. Has a slight hesitation on start-up from cold but cant complain. Still a slight tapping from the top end somewhere which I was hoping was the snapped rotor arm but obvs not haha. Any ideas how to cure that?

In the mean time, ive given her a clean. 1st time ive ever seen her proper clean as the bloke i brought her off didnt do a proper job as it was snowing haha but done a decent wash. Nice wookie wash mit, 2 bucket method, nano-tech washing solution, panel at a time etc. You cant polish a turd...but my 'Lounge' definatley isnt a turn! She looks great Also Vacced out all the inside and Spent a good few minutes cleaning the inside windows because in the right light they are useless lol. Sorted out the windscreen jets by bypassing the filter, removed the towing socket as that needs some attention due to the stupid scotch looks haha, lubricated all moving parts on doors + locks etc, done a few other bit also so shes in a good mood.

My todo list now stands at...
Fix squeaky brakes
keyfob battery
boot lid gas rams
fit parrot hands free kit and fascia kit for new radio
and eventually some alloys!
