Sorry - thought car would appear as part of my signature - it's one of the early ones - 58 / 09 MY SE Lux Prem uses the MMM2 maps. I can see the cameras are on the 2011 map release - wondering about if they are in the 2010 discs as this could be economic improvement on my 2008 discs.

Thanks

my first disks were july 09, and they had camera data in. i currently have the july 10 disks in and they have the data too. you have to switch the alert on though. think it's called something like facility warning.

when i first had my 2009 (my10) xc90 delivered it did not show the speed limit next to the camera - I requested a software update at year 1 service (first 3 updates free) then speed was shown next to speed camera warning.

Quick question guys ~
I recently took delivery of an XC60 D5 SE Lux Premium (with additional items).
I've finally found some spare time to look through the bits that came with the vehicle but noticed the absence of Navigation Discs.

Question is, does a new vehicle come with Navigation Discs?

I have to ring the dealer tomorrow as I have a problem with the vehicle. As such I would like to arm myself with any information.

Thanks in advance.

Interesting...... I found a post later on the forum that said
"There are two sets of discs - one set is the Software disc, (held by the garage) this updates the firmware to show 3d view, new icons etc.

The other disc set is the customer discs which hold the new map data, speed camera points etc."

So either Volvo have recently changed something or the country you have your vehicle from no longer supply the discs.
Basically there are four discs in total mentioned.

But there is no reason why we should not have the nav disks, even for a HDD system.

Next years update will come on a disk and we will have that one?

I am sure with my old Audi HDD system I had the nav disks.
