Yes, they are Cobra Superslots with 185/65 x 15 Toyos. I have just swopped them for steel rims for the winter today and will give them a wash, polish and spray with silicone (mould release spray) to protect them over winter. I talked to several experts about having them lacquered but the consensus was it was best to leave them simply polished as the lacquer would almost certainly start flaking at some point.

Just to benefit those looking at the Cobra's. They are actually called Supaslots. So don't panic when looking at a set and seeing it spelt differently where it's stamped in.

Awoke to a gorgeous morning on Saturday, so out for a spin in the Amo...
And no, I didnt drive down to the beach...! A rare morning with blue skies, quiet roads and driving an Amazon, what more could you ask for?

Today we had a break in the weather so this afternoon enjoyed a few hours driving the 'hood eheheh!
Drove around an area called Söderåsen and on to the village of Mörarp not far from Helsingborg. My target was the old Caltex petrol station in the village, been a petrol station since the 1930's and in the late 50's and 60's it was owned by Caltex. Since then it has had several owners but all kept it in it's original condition. The last owner has used the back of the garage for his Puch moped business, restoring, servicing and sales. Old Caltex film and what petrol stations used to be like >>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htFeFZjv5cA#t=15 <<<<<< Perfect opportunity for some pics of the station and Amazon..hope ya don't mind haha! Think they're all rolling restorations lol...and that's what mine will stay as I can't be doing with a year off with a full resto. Thats why I bought one where most of the major work had been done.
Getting cold here now, last few days we've had a cold snap of -5, winters coming |

I haven't had the opportunity to drive my old Amazon enough this year apart from during that lovely extended summer we had. Any opportunity to drive my Amazon reminds me that it's my favourite old car and the best I've owned. The old car's now tucked away for the winter months as I don't drive let either of my old cars get near the salt. It's sheeted down with cotton dust sheets and the battery conditioner's plugged in now.
This year we got a '66 Eriba caravan which my twins ADORE! I promise that the old car was not on the public road in these photos of my 4yo steering it whilst sitting on my lap!
