I just had to check, and yes....

Tim Williams is a Trader, maybe not here, but nonetheless, a Trader, and if you want a 'How to' give Tim a call! If you want it done affordably for you, give Tim a call!

Simon is a star, superb service, great guy, but let's not forget Tim as I think in terms of knowledge (which is freely shared without question) and pushing the envelope I think Tim has served all of us interested in performance admirably!

I can't see why anyone would...because we have! We've been both threatened with legal action by an ex-advertiser, and asked to remove content by a current one. Needless to say nothing came of either situation.

Well it would be pretty easy to make a mountain out of a molehill here, but the VOC is a bit of a running joke on T5D5 (and probably various other places...I'm not a member everywhere! ). As long as it's light hearted, I really can't see any harm in it, and I'm perfectly willing to join in. The danger is if some people read those comments, take them the wrong way and start replying 'with feeling'. Given things like the infamous NEC comment, I worry more about stuff from VOC-ites aimed at T5D5 than the other way around. That's all I was trying to say. As it stands, I think the status quo is a pretty happy one, and I think it'd be a shame to see it upset.

cheers

James

A little light hearted ribbing is to be expected in any situation where a difference exists. In all reality I see more banter between FWD/RWD than between T5D5 and VOC.
I've seen little or no animosity floating around in recent times from that side. If tension exists the other way then it's futile and only serves to inflame matters on that side. (it won't affect the other - trust me) I suspect then if any tension does exist it is only within the "corridors" of that side.

The performance section will always see the classic section as "the old duffers" and the classic section will always see the performace section as "hooligans" thats just life... LIVE WITH IT accept it and crack on. Let them chuckle at each other, it's what people do!

Rather amusingly only a few moments ago I stumbled upon this thread whilst doing a google search for something.

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=19785

A quick re-read of that thread will remind you just how far we have come from some pretty stupid events. If you bear in mind what we now know (Justin and Adam (VT) are business partners) it all takes on a more sinister light and makes perfect sense.

I think that some of those people in the "corridors" may well still be assuming that such situations still prevail. but in all honesty since the emergence of a further forum most of that idiocy was smashed clean open.
Times like that are gone, all that childish interfering is over, even VPCUK has given it up, the VOC forum has improved massively, T5D5 actually rose out of the stupidity at VPCUK by a bunch of members that were tired of all that crap. Forum conversation and content has become vastly more open and direct since those turbulent times, and that in many ways has to be commended.

For once we actually have a quite stable and happy online community....

Only just stumbled upon this thread, perhaps some 'Traders' trawl the forum for 'How To's' for them to follow.

BTW Is there a 'How to' on 'oil cooler Pipes' if not, probably best to wait for someone other than Russ to do it.
