I FINALLY got a chance to put a few laps in on this and only managed a 1'40.256. I hope to get another chance before close of play.

are you remembereing to tune the car George?

ie use the quick tune option before the race starts.

power should be increased as much as possible (20%)
weight reduced as much as possible (10%)
change the tyres to the softest stickiest compound available

1:37.881, I was 0.9 seconds up on that at one point but cause I was going faster I carried to much into the left hander which has the concrete barrier after it and clipped it. Got to get ready for my mates wedding now, being th ebest man etc, so will be offline till tomorrow night, 1:37.881 is therefore my entry for this one.

Well done Tim

Its annoying when that happens isnt it!

Whenever I start to improve on a previous time I never know whether to keep going flat out and risk crashing or back off slightly and lose a few tenths of a second... I usually chicken out and opt for the latter.

have fun at the wedding...

Tim

Looks like Tim's done it again. Either you are rather handy at GT or you have far too much time on your hands, or are single!!!!! I struggle to get a couple of hours on it each week taking into account work/overtime, husband type duties and home improvement duties!
What track and car you going for this week Tim!!??

Well I probably have too much time on my hands (although a lot less since I stopped being a lazy tax evading beer swilling student a couple of years ago),... and I'm single

I'll try some car/track combinations tonight - any requests for cars or tracks?

hey guys sorry if this is sort of off topic but i really dont have a better place to put it. Do yuo guys think there are going to be more volvos in gt5? I am hoping for the 850r or t5r. And in the gt4 booklet at the end of the book look for volvo and it says s60 t5, ( think ) 240 gle (i think) and it says 850 t5r s8? why would it say 850 t54 when its not in the game and what does s8 mean. Again im sorry if this is a little off topic. Thanks guys.
