you know when you set away for the first time to meet people you dont know can be a bit odd to say the least ,well I can now hounestly say from my heart what an absolutly wonderfull day I have had and I would like to say a big THANK YOU to locky and weestar and to everyone else I have met,eddie said exactly the same thing and thanks you all aswell .

A very big thankyou to everyone who came along especially Jeff and Sue all the way from London...was excellent meet as expected ..Well done to Locky for organising and all his hard work in organising everything...

Ps..sorry forgot to mention a Massive thankyou to Tim for dealing with the vandel scratches on my car...

Just got back an hour ago.. 414 miles round trip for me, Not as much as Mo or Jeff but a nice long drive..

I didn't take any photos!!! Did anyone??

i managed to get a few pics but have no idea how to blank out the plates, so will wait till tomorrow before i post any that way i have time to try play about with them all.

I would just like to second everything that Weestar has already said. It was an absolutely fantastic meet and thanks to everyone who turned up.

It has been a fantastic year for the Scottish Section, every meet has gone from strength to strength and many friendships made with such wonderful people. I can only do so much, but at the end of the day, it is YOU, the people who come and show support, whatever the weather or distance, that makes the Section what it is.

Thanks for that Locky. but if it was not for all your time and effort in organising the meets, everyone concerned would not have met up and made new friends, done the car bit, etc. Hope the Scottish Section gathers a bigger following in the future, sorry could not be at Carlisle today, but looking forward to the next meet, also looking forward to seeing the photies !!!

I will try to get my photos in tomorrow - after the plates have been doctored.

I have had a full virus scan running on the PC while at the meet - 530000+ files and 17 nasties found. I am fed up looking at the screen now so am off to bed.

It was a good day out, though. Nice to meet some new folks. Thanks also to Simon for the additional 'Dave Clark Five'.
