It was me who made the comment and I spoke to Andy via pm regarding what I said and to some extent the situation.
It is not my intention to mix things up or cause ill feeling for anyone, some members have deemed that since I posted information on legislation I was taking sides or causing problems. This is not the case, I was not judging, this is a young guy who has a situation with his car. He may have been a little foolish on how he dealt with one or two things but I am sure alot of us can relate to things we have done and thought hmm maybe I could have handled that better. Nothing has been added from the OP for some time and Russ has made no comment on the forum. I hope they have both been able to resolve this. We all need a little help or guidance in life please dont assume that someone is trying to put the boot in just because they try to post information or help. This is a fairly high profile thread on a delicate matter their is no need for members to fall out with each other due to an opinion. |

I have heard that Russ does request customers not to post any information when issues are settled, may be the reason why it has gone very quite. I hope it has not gone to small claims as their never really is an agreeable outcome for any side. |

Just to be clear, Steve, there are two 'groups' of alterations made to this thread by the team. Firstly, the first post was "cleaned up" in consultation with Greg, so as to a) remove some comments which didn't really add anything constructive, but might have antagonised unnecessarily, and b) make his story come across more clearly. Secondly, a few "silly" pops to and fro were removed...as we were starting to get distracted from the serious message at hand.
I wouldn't like people to think that the forum team have been on a "fact suppression" exercise. cheers James

What had Jod stumped was most likely the fact that Ben twisted (edited) what you had posted to suit his purpose of bashing me, and others, which served absolutely no-one, except Ben and his ego! Cheers, T

I don't think Ben is verbally bashing anyone just putting his point of view across, sure emails/forums can very easly be misinterprated and I take what foggyjames says on board, all to easy to get side tracked from the main point.

I imagine that Greg may want to report a resolution to the situation at some point in the future.
What would help with "doing good" in the meantime, while there is no news, is if people could resist the urge to take 'pops' at each other... cheers James
