Also Jod, to catch up with the list, do you want me 2 mail this reset tool to the next guy as it will save you on posting so much and be quicker then sending back to you and then to them? Its upto you mate. Ive posted a thread saying thanks in the 850 category btw (but anyway thanks again) and sent you a pm. Let me know chap. Im gonna post it back to you tomorrow but if u get this late and u want me 2 post it onto next person, you can call me tomorrow and give me relevant details.

Obviously post office is only open until 12 so it will be on its way by the latest at that time.. Thanks again

Justin
Post back to me at Bethnal Green please, Justin.....

The Yasaki instrument panel was used on some of the cars and the service light could be reset by removing the rubber grommet and inserting a drift of some sort...
The VDO units were initially reset using DTC box A and the 1995-7 cars need the service light tool as a result of the change of some ECM's to OBD11 compliency....
Why they ran two side by side for a period is something i cannot answer....., but would guess as the Yasaki unit did not incorporate a trip computer (it had clock and ambient temp) it was a "option" to upgrade to the digital VDO system at purchase?....

Cheers
Jod

No problem Jod. I guess it's dealer only to reset it then is it?

By the way mine is a P1 V70 but it has the ME7 system.
