Hi mate, any more progress with this? I wonder if anyone has one of John Grimsmo's original shifters that isn't installed for comparison?

like I said, it will be similar. I had some short notice work come up this week which I needed to clear first. If I can't do as good a job as the obsolete alternative then I will let you all know.

I'm definitely still interested, but need to know if the kit would fit a d24 'box?

Chris Palmer would be the same I'm sure as he runs an oil burner too.

I would have thought that the back end of all three 'boxes would be the same, but don't know.

I would be amazed if the D24 M90 had a different gear lever arrangement..... the white/red block seem to be identical

I am going ahead with making a batch of 10. Mine has less parts that the imperial US job and will have another small enhancement + be just as good if not better in every other area. It is going to utilise the existing gear knob bit so you (customer) will need to swap this over along with the circlip that holds it all in. I am prepared to mod the design to utilise an aftermarket selector/knob if people are interested (for the second batch of 10). Prototype should be done and tested in a week or 2........
