Spent an hour sending email requests to all previous banks and credit card providers I can remember from over twenty years ago, MBNA confirmed a credit card from 1989 had ppi on it.
Result!
Still waiting to hear about all the other requests I sent in for me and my Mum and Dads credit cards and loans over the years.
Spend an hour, just Google the bank or credit card providers with ppi in the search and most have a dedicated form that takes minutes to fill in and they respond with the details.
Don't forget to include mortgages and car finance deals, store cards etc.
If you score a payout after reading this my commission rates are low.

Finally caved after 9 years and ordered a replacement swirl flap throttle, gasket and copper washers. My '05 V70 D5 SE 185 won't know what's hit it....

Gave the EGR valve and cooler a good cleaning after removing them. The next couple of days will confirm whether or not it was worth doing.

It runs from the back of the engine to the front (below the fuel and vacuum pumps), leading to the aluminium mixer pipe that gets fillled with black crud.

Fixed the lawnmower drive belt, much cursing and trapped fingers later mow the lawn.
Fix the strimmer, the plastic pump nipple thing that pressurised the fuel system split, £1.50 bit stops it working! Easy swap over, strimmed the garden.
Sat down with a tall one now, that's me done!

Just noticed the right front tire has a lot more wear on it compared with the left front one (this is a FWD model). Must be because at times I'm a little gas pedal happy. It seems this wears one of the front tires more. So went ahead and switched the front wheels between them.

Gave my car the pre MOT once over today and checked for burst gators and dodgy bushes and bearings. All looks good apart fom near-side tyre which is border line legal.

Today fitted jewel type rear light clusters to upgrade my 02 S60. Was a really easy upgrade and looks great
