Apparently you can remove scratch's with WD40 and a buff but yet to try it yet I will give it a go tomorrow.
Intrigued with the T shirt trick, please do tell more.

WD40 will not remove the scratch, it simply fills the scratch with liquid which in turn darkens the raw edges of the scratch and gives the impression that the scratch has gone due to you not being able to see it.

Just ordered a machine polisher for mine with a whole load of goodies.

About time now it's mechanically sound that I keep the body work looking good.

I saw on youtube someone showing how WD40 can appear to get rid of scratches. Wash your car and your scratches magically re-appear.
A good scam maybe to sell a car, a way around it feel the paintwork in case it's oily.

Sounds like a tutorial from the 'Arther Daley school for secondhand car salesmen' That is the next trick, after putting sawdust in the gearbox to quieten a noisy transmission.

Looks like the old V40 is going nowhere tomorrow morning thanks to a pillock of a neighbour. I swear if it wasn't for cctv I would happily take the front off that civic with my already knackered Volvo!

Email sent to management company (again) and politeish note left on windscreen. The sooner I move away from here the better! Appears that Mr/Mrs inconsiderate is a doctor in a local hospital. As much as I respect the medical profession I feel they can park out on the street like everyone else.

I have a similar problem where I live. There are too many cars for our little apartment block car park, so it gets pretty heated at times.

At least twice a month, some guy parks across the back of my car because there are no other spaces. His justification? Because he's a doctor and needs to be able to get out quickly. So he can do it to me but I couldnt do it to him! A tad unfair.

We all need to be able to get to work
