One from your album no doubt, the one you keep in the darkest recess of your closet.
I doubt your tail end can muster 1600psi, lool.

Cheshire5, I think I get the idea, only...

Next time an idea pops into your head, leave it there.
On the other hand, had you put up a pic of the two ol'duffers from the 'Muppet Show', you'd have had us stone cold.

When you next come across someone lots older than you troubling to give you battle-scarred experience. Stop. Think. It will be a moment in your life all too rare. Then think again. Because the point comes when there is nothing else that man can do with it, but give it to you.

Just a wee question, for you or A.N.Other.....
how cheap (and easy) would a DIY kit on my XC 2.5T be to fit, say an ACstag or Prinns? I'm sure I could spanner it on easy enough, i would have it commisioned, snagged and registered of course...
Anyone any knowledge of non-Volvo systems?

If it's too much i may just punt this greedy baby on.
Had a 4.4 FFRR for a while with LPG and it was pretty darn good on the juice as long as you were gentle on the right foot and not seeking out the wonderous tunes of the V8.!

Done a basic reccy and it looks to be around £450 for a good front end for my 210hp, not sure on costs for rear (tank, filler etc).

However, after much study I reckon you've read it wrong... his mother is to blame.

Default XC 2.5T lpg

I would think that you could get a front end kit including good injectors (Hana/LPG tech) and something like an LPG Tech controller for under £300.
I got a front end kit for my RX8 2 years ago for £200 using an LPG Tech controller and Hana injectors and it has proven to be pretty good so far.
Tank, pipe and fitting probably another £150 or so so all in you should be looking at no more than £450 or so plus a few days work.
The worst thing is routing the lpg pipe from the tank to the vapouriser. The rest of it is very straightforward.

To return to steppers etc on BiFuels, I tried to buy the large inline LPG filter for my 2003 BiFuel and was quoted £90 plus from Volvo. I see a similar item for £5.00 on ebay, but has inlet/ outlet pipes of 12mm. Mine measure approx. 16mm. Could I ask anyone experienced where to look? My stepper motor was replaced 3 years ago and is behaving , but I may need your expertise sometime, CNG.

Neat hijack there.. we nearly didn't notice. Filters on Ebay, you can get 12, 15 & 16mm versions costing £4-5.00 odd each. The Volvo price is for the sheep. Risible. For those wanting a Volvo logo, ClassicSwede or yours truly will do this with a felt tip for £20 a throw. While you're on throw some Injector cleaner down there. This is covered in numerous threads.

Thanks CNG, I'll look again for filters. I just did the injector cleaner trick this week and I detect an improvement.
