Default P Reg 940 2.3 Turbo Manual Estate Project or Spares

Due to an unfortuante change of living enviroments I have to lose my Project car. I'll be perfectly honest. There is a lot wrong with this car as it has been sitting for nearly 3 years. Car has no MOT, and is SORN. I tried to put it through MOT but it failed and I am lacking the funds to fully sort the car.

2.3 Turbo Manual Estate
1997
196000 miles

Bad & Broken
  • Interior leak
  • Car doesnt start on the button. will eventually (not sure whats causing)
  • Squeel when running
  • Brakes binding
  • no drivers side floor interior

Things i have "Fixed"
  • Brand new alternator
  • 4 new tyers
  • New fuel pressure regulator
  • 4 new brake rotors
  • Front and rear brake pads

Need to sell reasonably fast as it is sitting on my parents driveway (Westerham Kent).

Email jbrysonoffen[@]gmail.com for pictures + viewing.

Doesn't sound too bad a list.

What did it fail the MOT on?

Sounds a good project.

All fixable stuff if you have the know how. Bushes + brakes plus some minor failures on the colour of the rear lights.

The squeel sounds like metal on metal to me.

If the noise is a high pitch squeal then it is probably an auxilliary belt, no matter how much I cleaned the pulleys up with sandpaper I couldn't cure the squeal on mine until I replaced the power steering belt and the noise disappeared.
