Park/Neutral switch Input Circuit
Hi getting codes P085086:PARK NEUTRAL SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT and P085029: PARK NEUTRAL SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT. Cannot remove key fob and engine will not crank/start also says on info display Select Park, could this be a wiring issue cheers sandy

The GSM (Gear Selector Module) is mounted on the gear selector assembly. Since it claims there's a problem with the input, it seems to me it's more likely inside the GSM.
If it would have been the wiring from the GSM to the TCM (Transmission Control Module), the complaint would most likely have been about communication between the two instead. The GSM communicates with the TCM via LIN network. |
