Default Boot dimensions?

So with a baby just arrived and two golden retrievers we could do with some more space inside our XC60 to travel safely as at present the pushchair has to site behind the driver seat/on the back seat, so not the safest.

We popped to our local dealer quickly yesterday to look at the XC90 and it seems it could help overcome this issues with the central boot divider. So we could use one side for the dogs and the other for the pushchair etc. Most of our 'outdoor' journeys for dog walking are relatively short 30-40 min drive. The new MY17 brochure doesnt give any physical dimensions for the boot so that we can check how much space the dogs would get in 'half' the width of the boot.

Ive had a quick google but not found anything so far. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, the dealer has an ex-demo with 1900 miles on the clock with a few more toys on than we could probably stretch to on a new model. Is the MY17 with powerpulse (momentum) worth going for over the MY16?

Thanks in advance

See attached for dimensions.

No-one has first-hand experience of PowerPulse yet so can't say if it's significant. The bigger change for MY17 is Pilot Assist 2 which becomes standard and raises the maximum speed it operates at from 31 mph to 86 mph.

There are other changes too such as Drive Mode Settings, heated front seats and a spare wheel all becoming standard fit. However the Momentum loses adaptive headlamps as standard and they become part of the optional Winter Plus pack.

Fantastic, thanks very much for that. Exactly what i was after.

Useful info on the MY17 as well. We would likely go with the winter pack plus if ordering anyway.

Default Boot dimensions?

Hi all,

Newbie post here...

We have a V40 and a Golf GTI at present. With new baby arrival, the GTI is being chopped for a 67 plate used D4 XC60 II r-design.

Apologies for what seems like a daft question.. I want to make sure the pram fits in length ways from back of rear seats to edge of boot rather than horizontally across the boot - to allow space for my other junk! Pram when folded is 91.4cm. Anyone had similar experience?

Many thanks,
Chris.
