Default XC70 prop shaft vibration / haldex

Hi all,
I recently replaced the prop shaft on my 2006, xc70, 112k, D5 due to a worn centre support bearing. Interval of about four months running 2wd before fitting new prop. Car running fine in 2wd. New prop causing vibration. Vibration at 1800 - 2100 rpm but worst in 6th gear at these revs doing 60mph. Not really noticeable in 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Worse first thing in morning when cold then gradually gets better. Also an intermittent whirring noise that sounds like a worn wheel bearing. New prop removed this weekend - vibration gone / no more whirring. Suspected haldex but no where near 100% sure. Plus 4wd working well in recent snow. Any suggestions / potential fixes anyone can recommend would be appreciated.
Thanks,

While I can't tell for sure, that could be the issue. For example, most chinese axle (drive) shafts are unbalanced and cause steering vibrations

Thanks for feedback. My thinking if the prop wasn't balanced is that it would be consistently bad, I.e. not get better as the car warms up. I seem to remember a whirring with the old prop as well. Dodgy prop is the obvious answer but unfortunately I think there's more to it in this case. I'm going to troubleshoot by refitting old prop with new cv bearings and also refitting new prop after making sure flange mating surfaces are spotless. See what differences there are. Will post back here what I find. Cheers
